Graveside services for Vennie Spradlin Garner age 89 of Decatur will be held Tuesday August 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Noonday Christian Church.
Mrs. Garner passed away Saturday August 6, 2011 at Falkville Health Care Center.
Mrs. Garner is survived by two daughters Marsha ( James) Walker of Decatur and Lisa Lynn ( Keith) Brewer of Trinity. Five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Garner was born January 18, 1922 the daughter of Robert Seburn and Alice Maudie Bolt Spradlin. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, a husband Hermit C. Garner, one sister Mary Louise Spradlin, two brothers William and James Spradlin.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Tuesday August 9 from 1:00 PM till 1:30 PM.
