Oh my where do I start? This is so hard to write. Calvin you were more of a brother to me than my real brother has been. I have so many memories, the times we went gambling, Tommy, you and me, and the time you won the $5000.00 at the Grand Casino, you gave me $300.00 to play on (you had the biggest heart) and the time you were caught peeing out the side door of the Horseshoe Casino, when you told us, Tommy and I laughed so hard, you were lucky at the Casinos and always shared, you said it's only money. You were never at a loss for words, I believe you could out talk me.
You and Tommy had such a special bond, you always called him T W. Well T W is having a hard time with losing you. I know in my heart I will see you again in heaven.
You have made such an impact on all the lives that have been blessed to know you, and you were ALWAYS ready to help the down and out, you never turned your back on anyone, and that my brother is what God wants from all his children.
I gotta go for now, the tears are blinding me, I will never forget you and will always love you,
Boogie

Big brother the world lost some of it's glow the day we lost you. You were such an amazing person and always ready to help. I remember being 17 years old and Dad and I had gotten into a hugh fight, who do I call; big brother Calvin, you were living in Atlanta, but did that stop you, no you loaded the kids up in the car and drove to Little Rock to get me. That's a brother. I'll always miss you. I also remember mom waiting for those suprise visits you were always making. Hopefully she's not waiting any more and your holding hers and daddy's hand right now. Love you always.

Calvin was one of a kind. A good friend and fellow employee. I will always remember his sense of humor. For example, In my last discussion with him on facebook we established that he was not a dirty old man....he was a sexy senior citizen. He will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Calvin, I am going to miss you so much it hurts to think about... I have so many memories of you, its funny how you dont really think about them until you lose someone.. which makes the grief of losing you a lot worse but in the same instant it fills you with love and pride of knowing such a wonderful person and knowing we are family. That's one thing you always showed was your love for your family. I can remember all of us kids would just follow every step you made and beg you to sing or to let us play in your caddy.. you always had so much patience with us and treated us so kind. Maybe thats why you were "our Elvis"... you were our hero, a cowboy and even a rockstar!! You gave me my first job, selling stuff with you at the flea market. After we were finished working we always went to Chip's to eat. You made me feel so important and special.. thank you for that. I do, like everyone else, wish that I would have told you how special you were to me and how much I loved you... Rest in love uncle Calvin... tell granny and grandpa I love them!! (just tell them their favorite grandchild and they will know its me! hahaha jk)
