Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Phillip "Spanky" Lipham age 35 of Newell will be held Tuesday September 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Rivers and Rev. Brian Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Jordan's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Lipham passed away Sunday September 4, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Lipham is survived by a girlfriend Sarah Johnson of Newell; two daughters Renay Johnson and Nicole Johnson both of Newell; his father Roger B. Lipham of Woodland; his mother Phyllis D. Lipham of Ranburne; three sisters Tami Lipham of Woodland, Sarah Ann ( Elias Perez) Lipham of Newell and Marie Lipham ( Stanley) Hudgins of Newell; one brother Brian ( Tara) Lipham of Newell; a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Howard Johnson, Rodney Mylam, Ronnie Mylam, Shannon Lipham, Jessie Reynolds and Jamie Meadows.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee from 5:30 till 8 PM on Monday September 5, 2011. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
The family will accept flowers or donations for funeral expenses.
