Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Eugene W. Brown age 86 of Woodland will
be held Monday October 24, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Bear Creek Methodist Church with
Rev. Gary Henderson and Rev. Jacob Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in
the Bear Creek Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home,
Wedowee, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 23, 2011.
Mr. Brown passed away Saturday October 22, 2011 at his
residence.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife Evelyn Huddleston Brown of
Woodland; one son, Verlon E. Brown (Judy) of Huguley; one grandson, Justin
Brown (Kimberly); three great grandchildren, Dylan, Larissa and Kylee.
Mr. Brown was born June 17, 1925, as the 11th
child of Sam and Lou Moore Brown. He was
a member of Bear Creek Methodist Church and a carpenter for Trintex Inc. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents;
a grandson, Jeremy Eugene Brown; 10 brothers and sisters.
