Obituary Notice

Funeral services for Myrtle Mohee Foster age 91 of Wedowee will be held Thursday November 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM from Ava United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Henderson and Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Foster passed away Tuesday November 8, 2011 at her residence.

Mrs. Foster is survived by a brother Bobby Burroughs of Wadley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Randy Burroughs, Robbie Burroughs, Rusty Burroughs, Kevin Elliott, Bill Johnson, Seth Johnson and Ben Johnson.

Mrs. Foster was born June 14, 1920 the daughter of H. R. and Earlie Caldwell Burroughs. She was a homemaker and a member of Ava United Methodist Church, where she was a choir member for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond Foster, two sisters Verna Mae Longshore and Hazel Osborne, two brothers Buren Burroughs and James Burroughs.

The family requests donations be made to Ava United Methodist Church Building Fund or flowers.

The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Wednesday November 9, 2011 from 5 till 8 PM. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
