Obituary Notice Funeral services for Sue Huddleston Grant age 83 of Woodland will be held Thursday December 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wendell Ford and Rev. David Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Grant passed away Monday December 12, 2011 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mrs. Grant is survived by her husband James Grant of Roanoke; one daughter Melissa Traylor( Lance) Warren of Woodland; three sons Darrell Huddleston of Woodland, Bobby Huddleston of Springfield, Mo. and Danny (Patty) Huddleston of Wedowee; one step-son Doug Grant of Acworth, Ga. a sister and brother-in-law Joe and Carol LeSueur of Wedowee; three sisters Jane Baldwin of Arrington, Tx., Alice Stash of Carrollton, Ga. and Patsy Cordell of Harrison, Tn. sixteen grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. A Randolph County native Mrs. Grant was born June 24, 1928 the daughter of Ben and Maude Daniel Knight. She was retired as a bookkeeper with Huddleston's Garage and a member of Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Robert Huddleston, one son Tommy Huddleston, one brother George Knight, four sisters Margie Watson, Betty Samara, Joann Garrison and Judy Damron. The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Wednesday December 14, 2011 from 5 till 8 PM. Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of the arrangements.
