Obituary Notice
Funeral services for, Mary Ezell Stevens, age 85, of Woodland, will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 21, 2011, from the Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, on Wednesday, December 21st.
Pallbearers will be Paul Saxon, Tracy Easton, Gwendolyn Rice, J. W. Cox.
Mrs. Stevens died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Roanoke Health Care.
Mrs. Stevens is survived by one son, Doyle Stevens of Pomona, CA; two grandchildren.
Mrs. Stevens was born, September 7, 1926, the daughter of, Sam and Leone Smith Harrington. She was a member of Herrens Grove Baptist Church and had been a seamstress for Breman and Bowdon Investment. Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her husband, Ofa Lee Stevens; her parents; one son, Manard Stevens; one daughter, Christine Whitley; one grandson, Johnny Ray Whitley; two sisters; three brothers.
