Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Flora Lee Carr Copeland age 79 of Woodland will be held Monday December 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. A. W. Kent officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty East Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Copeland passed away Friday December 23, 2011 at East Alabama Medical Center.
Mrs. Copeland is survived by three daughters Cathy Mitchell of Woodland, Jane Lowery of Texas and Gaynell Hemmings of Valley; two sisters Ruby Hudgins of Woodland and Betty Jo Hawthorne of Roanoke; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Mrs. Copeland was born June 25, 1932 the daughter of Carl and Mattie Wilson Carr. She was retired from Traylor's Nursing Home and was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Sunday December 25, 2011 from 5 till 8 PM.
