Obituary of Olen Michael Cook

Obituary Notice Funeral services for O. Michael Cook age 65 of Wedowee will be held Wednesday January 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Nations, Bro. J. L. Sparks and Bro. Henry Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Christian Church cemetery. Mr. Cook passed away January 2, 2012 at Wedowee Hospital. Survivors include his wife Katie Jo Simpson Cook of Wedowee; three sons Charles Cook of Wedowee, Brack Cook of Villa Rica, Ga. and Brady Cook of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren Michael Brandon Cook, Tanner Cook, Abby Cook and Peyton Cook; two great grandchildren John Mike Cook and Katie Aurora Cook. Pallbearers will be Dale Lovvorn, Tommy Cofield, Alan Adair, Chris Adair, Chuck Tucker and Keith Marable. Mr. Cook was born May 8, 1946 the son of Olen and Eris Shiflett Cook. He was a retired jailer with the Troup County Sheriff's Department and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents.
