Obituary of Pearleen Ogle

Funeral services for, Pearleen P. Ogle, age 80, of Heflin, will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 15, 2012, from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Harris and Rev. David Carpenter officiating. Burial to follow in the Pinetucky Baptist Church Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 14th. Pallbearers will be Dan Hopkins, Kevin Smith, Gerald Whitworth, Micah Harris, Bailey Cofield, Austin Ploof. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Cosper, Scotty Hudgins, Justin Hudgins and Anthony Ploof. Mrs. Ogle died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the home. Mrs. Ogle is survived by one daughter, Rita (husband Roy) Cofield of Heflin; one sister Vema Milam of Wedowee; a daughter in law Patsy Ogle: six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Ogle was born, April 18, 1931, the daughter of Cisero and Reva Holloway Puckett. She was a member of Mt. Grove Baptist Church and had been a seamstress for Star Manufacturing Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vertis Franklin Ogle; her parents; one son, Raydean Ogle; one grand-daughter, Heather Jane Cofield; two sisters; five brothers.
