Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Winnie L. Holloway age 90 of Wedowee will be held Friday March 9, 2012 at 1:00 PM from Leven's Baptist Church with Rev. Barrett Holloway and Bro. Terry Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Holloway passed away Tuesday March 6, 2012 at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Holloway is survived by her husband Lawrence Holloway of Wedowee; two daughters Annette Holloway and Connie Holloway both of Wedowee; one son Larry ( Wyneise) Holloway of Wedowee; two sisters Wilma Holloway and Hoyle Hadley both of Wedowee; two grandchildren Kim Watkins and Kristy Cooper and five great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tim Holloway, Jimmy Bradley, Tim Watkins, Mike Holloway, Joel Scarbury and Joe Freeman.
Mrs. Holloway was born June 21, 1921 the daughter of James and Eva Wortham Hadley. She was retired from West Point Pepperell as a spinner and a member of Leven's Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, two children Phillip Holloway and Wayne Holloway, one sister Ima Bradley and two brothers Kermit and Curtis Hadley.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Thursday March 8, 2012 from 5 till 7 PM. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
