Obituary Notice

Funeral services for Mary Lowe Smith age 73 of Woodland will be held Monday March 19, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith passed away Saturday March 17, 2012 at her residence.

She is survived by four sons Chuck (Cindy) Smith and Glen (Debbie) Smith both of Woodland, Thomas ( Angela) Smith of Bowman, Ga. and Ted (Sherry) Smith of Ranburne; two brothers Steve Lowe and Ray Lowe both of Fort Pierce, Fl; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chase Smith, Casey Smith, Austin Smith, Owen Smith, Isaac Smith, Lamont Herring, Craig Parris and James Smith.

Mrs. Smith was born November 17, 1939 the daughter of Charles T. and Mary Electa Stevens Lowe. She was a homemaker and a member of Providence Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cornelius (Nick) Smith, two sisters and one brother.

The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Sunday March 18, 2012 from 5 till 8 PM.
