Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Bonnie Mozella Clifton age 76 of Woodland will be held Friday March 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Clifton officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Clifton passed away Tuesday March 20, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Clifton is survived by a daughter Dena B. Tate of Woodland; a son Joey Bridges of Rome, Ga; two sisters Mary Gentle and Francis Patterson both of Abbeville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim Clifton, Anthony Clifton, Ricky Gentle, Jimmy Hill, John P. Allen and Junior Traylor.
Mrs. Clifton was born April 13, 1935 the daughter of Jody and Lily Yarbrough Clifton. She was self- employed as a sitter and a member of Gray Hill Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Denise Bridges, four sisters Lessie Hill, Helen Kacer, Essie Gentle and Willadean Clifton, five brothers Junior and Leroy Clifton, Luther, James (Boots) and Willis Franklin.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Thursday March 22, 2012 from 5 till 8 PM.
