Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Richard Edward Smith age 68 of Lineville will be Wednesday June 13, 2012 at 2 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Johnny Hamlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mr. Smith passed away Sunday June 10, 2012 at Wedowee Hospital
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Renee Johnson Smith of Lineville; two daughters Sangreal Dawn Smith of Huntsville and Rachel Rebekah Hardman of Scottsboro; two sons Solomon Micah Smith of Ft. Payne and Joshua Jeremiah Smith of Athens; one brother Donald Smith of Texas; three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Solomon Smith, Joshua Smith, Eric Smith, John Hardman, Mike Blumenfeld and Ken Holman.
Mr. Smith was born December 24, 1943 the son of Charles Edward and Winifred Ostrander Smith. He was retired as a salesman at Infinity Auto Sales. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Tuesday June 12, 2012 from 6 till 8 PM.
