Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Gerald Perry age 73 of Roanoke will be held Sunday June 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Midway Methodist Church with Rev. Cloyse Johnson and Rev. Ed Grooms officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Perry passed away Friday June 22, 2012 at Wedowee Hospital.
Mr. Perry is survived by his wife Loyice J. Perry of Wedowee; three daughters Ann (Dwayne) Adamson of Wedowee, Fran (Jim) Dale of Knoxville, Tn. and Jan (Arvil) Tilley of Jacksons Gap; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Billy Pitts, James Bryant, Joe Thrower, Billy Holly, Leroy Spradlin and Brad Dale.
Mr. Perry was born August 21, 1938 he was a retired salesman for Mid- South and a member of Midway Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother Ola Perry and his first wife Judy Ann Perry.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Saturday June 23, 2012 from 6 till 8 PM. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
