Obituary Notice
Graveside services for Roger Dale Holmes, SR, age 60, of Lineville, will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday July 25, 2012, from Valley Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Wayne Stevenson officiating. Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, on Wednesday, July 25th.
Mr. Holmes died Sunday, July 22, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Holmes is survived by his wife, Patty Holmes of Lineville; two sons, Roger Dale Holmes, JR of Birmingham, Patrick Lee Holmes of Wetumpka; two grandchildren.
Mr. Holmes was born, December 6, 1951, the son of B. C. and Mattie Foster Holmes. He had worked as a crane and riggings supervisor for Flvor Corp. Mr. Holmes is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jimmy Holmes. Flowers will be accepted, donations to the American Cancer Society, or ones favorite charity.
