Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Robert Wendell "Bobby" Heard, age 44, of Woodland, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 28, 2012 from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Emmett Heard officiating. Burial will follow in the Greens Chapel Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, on Friday, July 27th.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Heard, Jake Moore, Scott Gore, Daniel Williamson, Phillip Watson and Eddie Harrington.
Mr. Heard died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Heard is survived by one daughter, Ellen Heard of Roanoke; two sons, Casey Heard of Woodland, William Heard of Roanoke; parents, Wayne (Boots) and Corene Heard of Roanoke; one brother, Emmett Heard of Hartselle.
Mr. Heard was born, July 3, 1968. He was of the Methodist faith, and a maintenance supervisor for Kidspeace.
