Funeral services for Brittany Michelle Duffey age 17 of Wedowee will be held Monday September 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Gray Hill Church of God with Rev. Mark Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Miss Duffey passed away Friday August 31, 2012 at Wedowee Hospital.
Miss Duffey is survived by her parents Darryl and Michelle Duffey of Wedowee; one brother Allan Duffey of Wedowee; paternal grandparentsJohn and Patricia Thompson of Wedowee; Maternal grandparents Randall and Elaine Thomas of Luthersville, Ga. And Ed Jones of Newnan, Ga. , one great-grandmother Joyce Lambert of Newnan, Ga. A host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Miss Duffey was born August 16, 1995 the daughter of Darryl Allan and Michelle Leighe Jones Duffey. She was a junior at Randolph County High School and Pentecostal by faith.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Sunday September 2, 2012 from 5 till 8 PM. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
