Obituary Notice

Funeral services for Cassie Lee Lipham Brown age 43 of Heflin will be held Friday September 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Pinetucky Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Bain officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Brown passed away Wednesday September 19, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband Johnny Dewayne Brown of Heflin; two daughters Madeline Brown and Mallory Brown of Heflin; one son Trevor Brown of Heflin; her parents Norman Gary and Mayrene Bearden Lipham of Wedowee; one brother Shannon Lipham of Newell: her maternal grandfather Rev. J. D. Bearden of Heflin; two nephews, one niece and one great niece.

Pallbearers will be Mason Lipham, Brian Bain, Joseph Newborn, Chris Wakefield, Shane Price and Brandon Young.

Mrs. Brown was born January 11, 1969 the daughter of Norman Gary and Mayrene Bearden Lipham. She was a graduate of Randolph County High School. She was a nurse for Alacare and a member of Pinetucky Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Fayrene Bearden and her paternal grandparents William Norman and Lula Relma Lipham.

The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Thursday September 20, 2012 from 5 till 9 PM. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
