Graveside services for Wilford Earnest Wilson age 90 of Woodland will be held Sunday October 21, 2012 at 3:00 PM from Friendship Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Lendon Fields officiating.
Mr. Wilson passed away Friday October 19, 2012 at Wedowee Hospital.
Mr. Wilson is survived by three daughters Wilma Reid Mitchell of Wedowee, JoAnn McSheridan of Woodland and Tommie Sue Cole of Roanoke. three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harold Wilson, Tony Moore, Joey Reid and Todd Cole.
Mr. Wilson was born May 21, 1922 the son of Dave and Edna Dukes Wilson. He was retired from the textile industry and a Christian by faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cloie Haynes Wilson, two sisters and three brothers.
The family will accept flowers or request donations be made to Friendship Christian Church Cemetery Fund.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Sunday October 21, 2012 from 12:30 till 2:30 PM.
