Funeral services for Emma Lee Spradlin, age 74, of Woodland will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. George Pike and Rev. Jamie Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Grove Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 PM on Friday, May 27, 2016.
Mrs. Spradlin passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Spradlin of Woodland; two sons, Kenneth Spradlin of Wedowee and Michael Spradlin of Woodland; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Lucille Vise of Bowdon, Lemerle Waldrop of Wedowee, and Emma D. Akins of Wedowee; and one brother, Lemuel Holloway, Jr., of Wedowee.
Pallbearers will be Chris Spradlin, Christian Spradlin, Josh Spradlin, Dwight Akins, Jamey Gray, David Waldrep, Randall Holloway, Shane Holloway, and Johnny Vise.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Spradlin was born on May 4, 1942, the daughter of Lemuel and Lena Gray Holloway. She was a member of Mt. Grove Baptist Church and was retired from Ava Hills Assisted Living. Mrs. Spradlin was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Mindy Spradlin.
