A memorial service for Archie Lewis Kemmerlin, Jr., “Pa”, age 81, of Woodland will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 11:00 AM from St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.
Mr. Kemmerlin passed away Monday, October 17, 2016, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Kemmerlin of Woodland; three daughters, Carol K. Pittman, Kelly Kemmerlin-Cleere, and Kerri Kemmerlin-Gay; one son, Archie Lewis Kemmerlin, III, “Tripp”; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A South Carolina native, Mr. Kemmerlin was born on April 13, 1935, the son of Archie Lewis and Aurelia Lois O’Cain Kemmerlin. He was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, a US Navy veteran of the Korean War, and worked as a systems analyst for SSI with the US Government. Mr. Kemmerlin was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Candace Kemmerlin Arrington.
