As we approach the 1st Homegoing Anniversary for my Daddy I am missing him deeply. I saw his memorial video for the first time. When we were down for his Homegoing Celebration I was in a fog since I had just spent 2 weeks in hospital with Kidney Failure and Adrenal Insufficiency, I was still extremely ill. I sat around thinking this cannot be happening. Frankly 8 months hence and I still feel like it has not happened and when we get back to Wedowee daddy will still be sitting there in his chair. I am so happy we were able to get home for his 72nd birthday and when we were driving out to head back to Indy that April I recall thinking and saying to my son, I am so glad we were able to come this could be the last time we see daddy on this side of Glory and as it happened it was. I just had a sense deep within my spirit. While I still fight anger toward one who did not do his best work where my dad was concerned I am coming to understand God was calling daddy home. For everything there is a season. Now as it happens we will not be able to go down for our family reunion the pain has reared up. To all of those who loved my daddy, Thank you. With the reaction to dad's passing it was obvious he touch so many people. That touches me yet today.

To the Family of Marty, my deepest condolences. Mr. Starkey was such a loving individual. When I saw him at the restaurant or in town he always had a smile. He made me feel joy from just shaking his hand and receiving a smile from him. I don't doubt that that feeling was because he had Christ in him. He displayed Christian action and love with his way of looking at you and giving that wonderful smile. I will truly miss him and his presence. May God Bless you all. I am so sorry for your loss, We have all lost an amazing example of a Christian man. Peace be with you as you morn, I know without a doubt he is with our Savior.
