Mr. Kicker was a true man of God, shining joy, laughter, and light to everyone. He was that light on the hill talked about by Paul in the Bible. My favorite memory is one Sunday I had been asked to do the little children’s story in the worship service. There were no children that Sunday and Robert came up to sit in their places so I told my story with him sitting there wrapped in that big contagious smile of his What a joy he was! Kim Heard.
