Annie “Ruth” Vaughn Stapler, age 66, of Woodland passed away on February 1, 2023 at Tanner Medical Center in Wedowee.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Michael Stapler; daughter, Misty (Candi) Britt; son, Kris (Kayla) Storey; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends who will truly miss her.
Mrs. Stapler was born on January 28, 1957, the daughter of Jeptha and Lois Bates Vaughn. Mrs. Ruth was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Jody Thrower and April McVey.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to assist with final expenses.
