Obituary Notice
Visitation for Wendell Ray Parker, Sr. age 66 of Wedowee will be held Monday June 11, 2012 from 5 till 8 PM at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee.
Mr. Parker passed away Saturday June 9, 2012 at University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham.
Mr. Parker is survived by his wife Shirley Parker of Wedowee; one son Ray Parker of Jackson, Ga; one sister Evelyn Hartman of Clinton. Tn; one brother Alvin Parker of Fayetteville, Ga; two grandchildren.
Mr. Parker was born August 31, 1945 the son of Jessie Elmer and Vella Christine Garrett Parker. He was retired from Delta Airlines as a passenger service agent. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Wedowee. He was preceded in death by his parents.
