Obituary Notice
Visitation for Arnold Ray Horton age 72 of Wedowee will be Wednesday October 17, 2012 from 2:00 PM till 5:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee.
Mr. Horton passed away Saturday October 13, 2012 at Wedowee Hospital.
Mr. Horton is survived by his wife Diane Horton of Wedowee; two daughters Tina Womack of Cedartown, Ga. and Kim Norris of Chattanooga, Tn. one step daughter Debi James of Cartersville, Ga; two step sons Danny Brooks of Fayetteville, Ga. and David Brooks of Douglasville, Ga. one sister Ann Cunningham of Rainsville; four brothers David Horton of Boaz, R.J. Horton and Howard Horton both of Fort Payne and Tommy Horton of Rainsville; eight grandchildren Chad Womack, Craig Womack, Nick Winkles, Jesse Brooks, Christian Brooks, Noah James, Krista Brooks and Colby Brooks; two great-grandchildren Breann Winkles and Aubree Brooks.
Mr. Horton was born June 1, 1940 the son of William and Minnie Lou Bible Horton. He was a retired supervisor of vehicle maintenance for Cobb County Georgia and a Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant son Arnold Ray Horton, Jr. and eight sisters and brothers.
